At the beginning, Cyclogram’s mission was to synthesize complex data so that people could understand and benefit from it. It soon became clear that we needed a way to get that information to that target audience. In the spaces that we work within, in many cases, a communication channel did not exist.

Starting in mid 2009, Cyclogram began a long-term relationship with the San Diego County Medical Society (SDCMS). We produced an expansive website that automated large parts of the membership join, renew, and management processes and provided a variety of member services, including access codes to member benefits, FAQs databases, e-mail newsletters, directory updates, CME notifications, and online advocacy tools.

Homelesshub.ca was conceived of as a way for Canadian researchers on homelessness to search a library. We worked with York University to provide features that create an online periodical that successfully competes for attention with the other general content sites on the Web. To improve engagement, we added commenting and an internal "semi-permeable" social networking feature.
